Black enamel finish painted wood base with black paper wrapped stem leading to sturdy wire branches. The feathered PVC foliage on the branches has the soft look of feathers. It looks so lifelike, one expects them to feel like real feathers as well. Tree includes orange and black ornaments and small 3/8" oval shaped lightly glittered orange wooden beads at the end of each branch. The ornaments photographed yellow but, they are "Halloween" orange. The branches of this black halloween tree are lightly sprinkled with tiny clear and green iridescent glitter. Tap it lightly over newspaper to get rid of the excess. The base is not weighted, but it supports the tree. The stem of our sample was a little crooked out of the box. But, a gentle bending of the slightly concave center in the opposite direction straightened out the curve. You can use other ornaments, Halloween cookies or display your own products on the tree if you prefer.
