You are only limited by your imagination! :-) How about a seasonal ornament display of beanie babies, red ornaments for Valentine's Day, chick or bunny ornaments for Easter, green ornaments for St. Patrick's day, red, white and blue ornaments for July 4th,
a black tree or black and orange ornaments for Halloween?

Hang glittered fruit ornaments on a tree and place it in your kitchen or dining room. Dry flowers and tie them to the branches of our country themed ornament trees.
Be creative with using
glass beaded garlands: twist or drape two different color strands of beads or tinsel garland together before decorating the tree. Or allow different color rows to overlap. You can even
remove the finial in our trees and substitute a silk spray of holly, poinsettia or any other seasonal flower. Experiment with a live spray if you can figure out how to get water to stay in the hollow, open trunk. Try removing the finials and placing a tiny nosegay of silk flowers. This would look especially nice as the centerpiece on a bridal table.
Just remember to be careful of scale, weight and balance when decorating your tree. Too many ornaments or unevenly placed decorations could cause the tree to be unbalanced which will then lead to tipping over and /or breakage. Arrange your heaviest ornaments or decorations around the bottom layer of the tree. If you want to go all out with displaying your ornaments, secure the tree so that it can not be knocked down or tipped over.
If you decide add
an up-light to your metal tree, make sure the stand, holders and bulbs are UL listed and approved for use on a metal surface.
