Our decorative ornament hooks range in wire thickness (gauge) from #8 to #18 and are sturdier than the flimsy wire hooks usually sold during the holiday season. Which size will work best for your tree? In general, the 1/2"-1" mini hooks work best with miniature ornaments 1-1/2" in diameter/length or less. our 1-1/2 - 2-1/2" hooks work well on the branches of artificial or real trees under 36" tall and ornaments up to 4" long. Use 3"- 4" hooks to stagger the arrangement of 3"-4" ornaments on your tree or to hang taller and larger ornaments in the empty "in-between" spaces of the branches on a real or artificial tree over 36" tall. They will also hold heavier ornaments such as the Waterford or Swarovski solid crystal balls and the Radko's without bending.
