Use and Care for Custom Rotating Stand

Thanks for your purchase of a custom made rotating ornament tree stand. We've made special arrangements with one of America's top manufacturers of custom made turntables to create these stands for our customers only. Unless otherwise agreed to, the delivered stand should comply with the following standards of workmanship:

Dimensions of the stand: Motor height 4” – 4-1/2” tall before top is added. Total of -5” tall x 9” wide.

Motor is 15A volts 110.
Operates using a standard household three prong plug on a 6 ft black electrical cord.
If you need to use an extension cord it must be (1) grounded (2) same amps as the cord on this stand and (3) heavy duty extension cord.
Warranty on the motor is 1 year as supplied by the motor manufacturer.
Melamine top is made of the same material as the typical kitchen counter top. It is a paintable surface. However, you must use paint specifically made for melamine or countertops and follow the paint manufacturer’s instructions.
Warranty on the Melamine top under normal wear and use is 1 year and does not include scratching, chipping or breakage due to abuse, abnormal use or lack of proper care for the top or stand:>· According to the manufacturer, the motor is in a metal housing, includes a fan, has self-sealed greased bearings, has no need to for oil and should not require any maintenance.
To dust the motor housing use a dry, clean, lint free cloth. DO NOT USE WATER OR ANY TYPE OF LIQUID to clean the motor housing.

To clean the mirror tiles, use a clean, lint free cloth lightly dampened with Windex or a comparable mild non-sudsing cleaner. This stand includes a plug in the base of the motor so that your lighted tree will rotate freely without a tangled cord. Set your un-decorated metal or artificial tree on the large diameter white melamine platform, push your light cord through the hole in the deck, plug it in and decorate. The entire display will rotate slowly for you at an elegant 1 RPM (1 revolution per minute). There is a push button on/off. However the manufacturer says it is easier to use the cord itself as the "on/off." Platforms larger than 30" will not rotate correctly on the current motor housing. According to the manufacturer you can paint the detachable melamine platform top to match your holiday decor. Just make sure to sand the smooth surface first and use paint that is made for melamine surfaces or countertops. A tree skirt, cloth, or even mini lights can also be laid on the uncovered melamine platform. While the stand is in use, keep the area around the electrical outlet uncovered. Allow sufficient air circulation around the motor housing. Tree platform must be assembled by adding the top to the base.

18" stand is intended for use with a decorated metal or artificial tree / 3-4 ft tall 36” wide weighing up to 250 lbs fully decorated.
24" stand is intended for use with a decorated metal or artificial tree / 5-6 ft tree 48” wide weighing up to 250 lbs fully decorated.
30" stand is intended for use with a decorated metal or artificial tree / 6-7 ft tall, 48-60” wide weighing up to 250 lbs fully decorated.
Maximum number of lights: 2000 mini lights or follow the manufactures instructions for the maximum number of strands that can be connected to light your tree. Can be used with c3, c7 or larger bulbs. However you must follow the manufacturers instructions for the maximum number of strands to connect.
Stand can be used to display other items of the appropriate weight that are flat on the bottom with all points of that surface sitting flush with the melamine surface. Objects that are not flat on the bottom should be adequately secured to prevent slipping or movement.
No other use is approved, implied or otherwise accepted including its' use for human beings.

DO NOT USE WATER OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF LIQUID ON OR NEAR THIS STAND. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THIS STAND BE USED WITH A HUMAN BEING, A LIVE PLANT, TREE OR ANY DISPLAY THAT FEATURES, IS SET IN, OR REQUIRES WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.

TERMS OF SALE: THIS STAND IS CUSTOM MADE FOR YOU AND AS SUCH, IS NOT RETURNABLE. Ornament Trees.com, its parent company and legally authorized agents of the parent company assume no liability in connection with the operation, use or misuse of this stand. Use/care instructions should be carefully followed. Liability is limited to that which is stated in the manufacturer motor warranty. Claims shall be limited to the price originally paid for the stand and top minus shipping charges. Any modification made to the stand by the customer after delivery voids this warranty and any/all claims.
